Just Be Yourself!

Listening people's advise? Following your idols footsteps? Looking up to someone? Well those makes you what you are now. Your aims, your motives creates you! But surely you had been feeling sad before because of what people said about you.

There are always ups and down in life. But do not let life pull you down! What people say does not really covered things up. They might say the correct thing, but chances are they might not. They have no first hand information on whats happening. All they see is the outside but never the inside.

Taking their advise is like doing a project. You can start by gathering information on others, but never to lose sight of your own project * being yourself*. Even if someone did some very good stuff in some of the processess , it might not be suitable to you. Therefore my friends, think wisely. Know what you want, know what you do not want. Just be yourself. There is no prize for the best copy-cats. But there is the ultimate glory for you being yourself.

google +

Well, well seems like google is now getting into the social networking wars, the google plus / Google+.

Many people think it just like another facebook, to save the introduction steps. It does work like facebook, uploading your status updates, sharing photo.

But one thing google did do is to set up circles. You can have your status or photo only made available to certain group of people. For instant you post something about your family and only wants your family members to view it. So you can click on to share only on the "family" circles.

From my point of view, it is quite neat for google to come out such simple social network. But hey! how complicated do you want your social network to be? Google just announce Google + apps on iPhone and long available on Android devices.

Thats my first impression toward google +, let see what can I do in google + that I can't do in facebook. Oh ya! Google + is now not open to public yet, so if you want any invitation just message me and I will invite you. Till then happy googling!

Android vs Apple

The world of smartphone. Begins in the Nokia era, Then comes Windows mobile. But now those 2 big software maker is nowhere to be seen. The world is now all about Android phone or Apple's iPhone. Which makes people in dilemma. Which is the best one to offer?

Both of them are very good platform, believe me both of them did really well in term of functionality. But still it depends on what your looking for in a phone. If you like to be simple, everything straight forward with tons of game to play without much difficulty in searching them apple will be your choice. However if your looking to have a extraordinary phone with many things to change and modify, Android will be your choice.

Apple logo forever is the biten apple. Nothing much to shout about, every time they change it will only be maybe a glowing apple, a metal apple. But still it is apple. This show that their branding, no matter what happen, apple will not let you customize too much.

On the other hand, Android's mascot, the green robot give you full customization ability. Even their mascot you can see like a business man robot, a cheerleader, or just a plain green android. This is how android get market share from apple. People do want to look different, they want to feel different.

Apple's phone is all about application. They are very proud on their app store. Which is a good thing, they have proper checking process to ensure the application are in tip top condition. In the other hand, google does not gives any checking process. Everyone can send their app in for sell. The bad thing is the quality at least for me is very bad looking :D

Even with the knowledge between their 2 major platform, I still have some dilemma to choose which one will be my next phone. But I do have very bad experience with HTC's desire. It when haywire after one week after my purchase, and now the camera, LED notification light go poof. Well at least I'm utilizing my warranty :D

Overcoming the challenges?

After one month in Liverpool, things had sort out pretty quickly I'm happy to be here. But things didn't work out right as always. Bad things do happen. Even when problem caused by friends, lecturer, own time management, money matters etc.

But now I'm having difficulty in my life. I'm feeling this is a challenging, and it's killing me. Is not about money and time. This thing doesn't see eye to eye with my heart. This is not a good thing. Hopefully I will be granted with a better mentality to overcome this challenge. This might make me into a better person! Hell ya!!

Lately I feel that I need to walk back the way of Jesus. I been long lost with his words, even thought I still pray for my family. I need to have a better determination on everything I planned. Failing to plan is planning to fail, and failing is not an option. Do you best danny boy !!

Self-awareness?

I'm gonna start this with a question, how well do you know yourself? The problem is, most people doesn't really understand themselves. Or I put it this way, most people don't put much attention to themselves. If you think how can someone doesn't know something well after so many years of sticking together. Well folks,  think again! 

Last week I went to a seminar/training regarding you self-awareness. At first I really have no idea at what am I good at and also what do I like. More like I'm trained not to be too over rate myself? So basically when people ask how good am I, I will say I'm nothing but a normal person with nothing extraordinary. But the truth is, everyone is special in someway. They might not be the best, but they do better then many people. 

But if you know yourself well, you can work happily because your doing what you prefer best. And also the chinese saying : Knowing yourself and your rival, gives you advantage over many things. So do you pay enough attention to yourself enough? If possible, gives yourself a chance, go for self-awareness training, it is fun and also breakthrough on your thinking!! 

apple wwdc 2011!!

Well folks... this is one the biggest event of the year hold by apple. Normally around this time of the year, Apple will likely to announce their new gadget, the iPhones. However this year is just a little bit different from other years. This year instead of announcing the new iPhones, Apple decided to announce only the iOS5, the operating system for iphones,ipads and also the ipod touch.

According to Apple, the new iOS 5 got as much as 200+ additional features compared to the previous version.



There you go! These are the coming feature of the new iOS5... seems to be quite promising if you asked me. I would say this is one of the most impressive iOS since the beginning of the iphone era. Apple not only make things simple for everyone, they beautify the simple steps. Take that android! I'm a android user, no doubt they are good but they just not that pretty to look at. Look at the apps on android and on apple's. The interface on both.

Apple had taken their move, now android your move?

What a week!

This week is a week of preparation for my coming EVENT!! I'm leaving Malaysia to a city called Liverpool!!! HOME OF LIVERPOOL F.C.!!! wooohooo

This week I didn't have to wake up early, didn't have to go to work. just a whole week of preparation. But then bad luck strikes me :) My puny phone fail to support my excitement to go overseas. The camera spoiled, the notification light from orange changed to red, and from red changed to no light!! This is just pure FML. However, is ok as there are bigger events that can over take the sadness, but one thing for sure. Next phone NO MORE HTC! ;)

The once in my life time, i spend MYR 1,500 in cash in one day. To buy some short pants, go for a movie, food and of course change some pocket money for the sake of this study trip. Suddenly i felt that I'm totally unprepared for this but I been looking forward to this day since I first graduated from my secondary school. I'm gonna finish this race this target this aim to make me a more worthy person, a person with high career expectation :D

Till then, will me good luck in my life over there. I bet this will be one of my most memorable journey ever!!
