Chrome VS Firefox 4.0

Few days back, I downloaded the new Firefox 4.0, so i did a little comparison on both Firefox 4.0 and Google Chrome web browser.

START UP SPEED
Google chrome is well known for being lightweight, minimalist. For a daily user that need speed no doubt chrome is the way to go. As for FF 4.0, it does become more lightweight compare to its predecessor, but still it takes around 5 sec to startup. Google need just 2 sec to pop up the browser.

BUGS?
with Google chrome, I have non noticeable bugs or failure. Everything works with wonder. However with the latest Firefox 4.0, sometimes I had problem refreshing the website. I press F5 (shortcut key for refreshing) or even clicking the refresh button, nothing happen. Maybe Firefox is still new :) but this definitely NOT a deal breaker.

MARKET SHARE
after so many years of competition. Firefox still hold the bigger market share in the web browser market compared to Google chrome. As at February 2011 . For me, this had create a bigger debate between which is better. Fanboy vs Fanboy?

VERDICT
As for me, I still prefer to use Google Chrome, as it gives many application that you can sync with your android phone. And you can search whatever more easily with the so called "multi-function" address bar. Maybe I'm becoming a fanboy but if your PC/laptop doesnt have huge amount of free rams, I suggest you to use Chrome :)

money or experience?

Have you ever wonder what are you looking for in life? Is it monetary or other things?

During this so called semester break. Most of my friend did very well, they found great job getting reasonable high income monthly. And yet i'm stuck in this small audit firm doing corporate secretarial practices. As far as I know, my salary is way below market, and so is my workload. Friends do ask me why am I still working in this company? Torturing myself? My answer is YES and NO. Yes I'm trying to torture myself, I want to make myself know that money is hard to earn, not easy to get. Whatever things I buy with my salary have to give me back the expectation and value that i fork out.

NO! is because I want to learn more in this company. When you're in a small firm it doesn't means that you learn nothing. I'm staying in this firm because my boss is willing to teach and he is humble enough. Most likely you wont be getting such boss that will slowly patiently educate you on things your doing. I might become a company secretary in future, or maybe not. But as far as I'm concern I'm earning the experience I need in future.

SO OTHER STOP BRAGGING!! I HAVE MY OWN PLAN AND I'M GONNA MAKE MY PLAN WORK !!

decision yo!

Right now, I'm in another crossroad of my life. I'm working, of course working is part of life, nothing wrong about that. But my workloads are actually so little that most of the time I'm online searching for things to do or to view. If not my time will be totally doing nothing. I'm not learning much in this company. and that is one big problem for me, I'm in a learning stage/enhancing my knowledge and skills stage, but yet there is not much things for me to learn.

Seems like I'm getting paid for doing nothing, some might view it as good, some might not. Therefore I had to make some decision on my life now. Whether I should resign and go to the training which I might or might not be offered? Or I stay in this company to waste my time but still earning something? There are always pro and cons on every decision. But the decision have to be made fast!! Time running out, may god show me the way that i should walk. Amen :)
